Grab the tissue box, because this one will bring on all of the happy tears.
The beloved custodian at Unity Gove Elementary School in Georgia got the gift of a lifetime when staff at the school pitched in together to buy the janitor, "Mr. Chris" a new car that he had been saving up for.
Watch the video from the elementary school and try not to cry:
"Oh my stars!"
Those were the only words needed to express how happy and surprised Mr. Chris was at receiving the wonderful gift.
It was the kindness of these two teachers that led to the heartwarming moment.
According to a Facebook post from the elementary school, two faculty members โ Ms. MacDonald and Ms. Combs โ collaborated to raise money to buy the car with about 76,000 miles on it for a little more than $1,500.
This is what kindness looks like.
Even in 2021, there's still plenty of goodness in this world.
