There is so much gold in here. Ted Cruz knows EXACTLY why the border deal is happening in the Senate.

Last year 853 migrants died crossing illegally into this country. Alejandro Mayorkas didn't even know how many died because he didn't care.

When I brought 19 senators down to the border we saw a man who had drowned floating in the Rio Grande and Democrats don't care.

Last year, thousands upon thousands of children were brutalized and sexually assaulted by human traffickers and Democrats don't care.

Last year, thousands of women were sexually assaulted by human traffickers and Democrats do not give a damn.

Last year over 100,000 Americans died of drug overdoses from Chinese fentanyl flooding across the southern border and Democrats do not give a damn...

If they cared, they would stop it! If you cared about the children being raped at the border, you would say "no more!"

Democrats just want cover so they can say "We tried to make a deal and Republicans wouldn't work with us."

As Cruz points out, this "deal" would normalize 5,000 illegal immigrants A DAY. Over 1 million every year. It wouldn't secure the border. It doesn't stop trafficking.

Funding a Democrat "comprehensive border plan" is just funding the wirecutters for Border Patrol in Texas.

There can be no deal between one side that is pro-illegal immigration and the other side that's against it.

Cruz smacked Republican leadership and McConnell as well:

It's not that they're bad at negotiating. It's that they want this outcome. And this outcome is terrible for the American people.

Cruz is speaking the truth.
