Well, here's your wild police chase story for the day straight from the great state of Tennessee.
It involves multiple stabbings, two crashes, and one out-of-control garbage truck, so you know it's gonna be a doozy.
The whole thing started in Knoxville when a local 43-year-old man, Shawn White (no, not this guy) 👇
...stabbed a woman and stole her car.
According to witnesses, the dude wrecked the car a few miles up the road.
But he wasn't going to give up there. Oh no. Far from it.
The perp then flagged down a friendly garbage truck who didn't realize he was stopping for a maniac. As soon as White hopped into the truck, he held the driver at knifepoint, telling him to floor it.
Eventually, the driver decided his best option was to hop out of the moving vehicle.
(By the way, I should mention that both stabbing victims are expected to recover.)
White put the peddle to the metal, leading police on a three-county chase.

The chase ended when the East Tennessee man crashed into a hot tub store... on Dolly Parton Parkway, of course.
(That's the most Knoxville thing I've ever heard of.)
The perp was taken into custody in Sevierville, where the second crash took place.
