Bro, you gotta be on some other stuff to go and do something like this:
Believe it or not, Aubrey is the president of Vista Ridge High's Future Farmers of America (FFA) program. And this was her second attempt at killing the rival goat.
Aubrey is also a cheerleader.
She used a pesticide called phosmet to do the job, and apparently the first time she tried it - a few days earlier - she didn't give the goat enough of it.
The girl told Cedar Park police she injected the pesticide into the mouth of the goat in October because the 15-year-old student taking care of the goat ‘was a cheater,' the affidavit said. It said the girl told police she ‘does not like cheaters.'
I'll tell you what else is considered cheating:
Killing a rival's goat!
This all happened in the FFA barn at Vista Ridge. Students in the program are given access to the barn during irregular hours, but luckily the security cameras at the barn were able to catch Aubrey in the act.
The Texas Future Farmers of America Association issued a statement that said its members ‘are encouraged to demonstrate ethical behavior in all activities, from competitions to community service.' Texas FFA, according to the statement, ‘does not condone any behavior that compromises ethical standards, animal welfare, or the integrity of its program.'
They take their husbandry super seriously down there in Texas, but Aubrey took this one a little far and will potentially spend two years behind bars for her animal cruelty felony.
She is set to make her next court appearance on January 15.
