The Calgary Flames scored a shorthanded goal from the opposite end of the ice to tie the game with less than 10 minutes remaining — in a playoff game!

Through four games in their Western Conference Semifinal matchup, the Calgary Flames and the Edmonton Oilers have scored a combined 36 goals. This is extremely rare in the Stanley Cup Playoffs as the whole point is to, you know, keep the other team from scoring.

But one of these 36 goals will stick out like a sore thumb compared to the rest.

Check it out:

Mark that down as a shorthanded goal for Calgary.

Let's take a few more looks at this:

Wow, what a shot by Rasmus Andersson!

132 feet out!

And what a terrible play by Edmonton goalie Mike Smith.

Though I'm guessing he lost this one either on one of those black jerseys or in the crowd.

Either way, no excuses in the playoffs, especially this late in the game and on the power play.

Luckily, Smith's team put a few in the net before the horn sounded and Edmonton now leads the series 3-1.
