Try to act surprised when I tell you that the cover model for this year's Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition once again has an Adam's apple
· May 16, 2023 · NottheBee.com

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this probably comes as no surprise, but the cover model for the 2023 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue is once again a biological male.

Yup, this just two years after we saw transgender model Leyna Bloom on the cover of the 2021 Swimsuit Issue.

A little background on SI's 2023 cover model:

Petras first rose to fame when she [sic] transitioned at age 16, becoming the world's youngest person ever to undergo sex affirmation surgery. She'd [sic] been taking hormone therapy since age 12.

I'm not joking.

That's seriously how the latest SI Swimsuit Issue cover model became famous. Petras has since become a Grammy Award-winning singer, but literally this person rose to fame on German television for being the youngest person ever to have gender reassignment surgery and appearing on talk shows to speak about it.

That was in 2008.

Boy, Europe is waaaaay ahead of us on this stuff, aren't they?

Fast forward to 2023 and the world's youngest person ever to undergo gender reassignment surgery is on the cover of Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Issue.

This world is getting weird, man.

Like, nothing is surprising anymore.

And I think that makes it all the more frightening.
