The IRS reassigned the entire team on the Hunter Biden probe after an unidentified whistleblower reported findings to Congress

Recently, a whistleblower testified to Congress regarding a probe into Hunter Biden's finances, which accused high-ranking members of Biden's Justice Department of thwarting US Attorney David Weiss' ability to bring charges against the president's son.

Hunter Biden's attorneys apparently met with Justice Department leaders after the whistleblower stepped forward.

And then in what can only be called a travesty of justice and a clear violation of law, the IRS responded to that whistleblower's actions by removing the entire investigative team involved with the probe.

The whistleblower's attorneys informed congressional leaders that the purge was ordered by the Justice Department.

"Today the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Criminal Supervisory Special Agent we represent was informed that he and his entire investigative team are being removed from the ongoing and sensitive investigation of the high-profile, controversial subject about which our client sought to make whistleblower disclosures to Congress. He was informed the change was at the request of the Department of Justice," Mark Lytle and Tristan Leavitt wrote.

This was even after IRS Commissioner Daniel Werfel vowed there would be no retaliation against the whistleblower. Besides, since a Congressional inquiry is involved, it would be illegal to do so under 5 U.S.C. § 2302 and 18 U.S.C. § 1505.

What exactly is getting covered up?

According to Hunter Biden's abandoned laptop, the first son paid up to as much of 50% of his earnings to his dad.

"I hope you all can do what I did and pay for everything for this entire family for 30 years," Hunter Biden groused to daughter Naomi in January 2019. "It's really hard. But don't worry, unlike pop, I won't make you give me half your salary." Pop is Joe Biden.

If that's true, then the time frame Hunter outlines includes Joe Biden's Vice Presidency, and the IRS is sitting on the money trail.

It's hard to imagine any other reason the Justice Department would be so keen to bury the investigation.

Oddly, the ousting of the IRS team probing Biden's finances occurred simultaneously as the release of the long-awaited Durham report detailing the FBI's bias in investigating Donald Trump.

I guess the plan was to draw attention away from current Democrat corruption by admitting to past Democrat corruption?
