The IRS took a jaw-dropping, record amount of our money in 2023 thanks to processes like “aggressive audits”
· Dec 29, 2023 · NottheBee.com

Man, just think of how effective those "aggressive audits" will be if the Federal Swamp gets its 87,000 armed IRS agents!

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) raked in a record $4.9 trillion in taxes from Americans in the last fiscal year, due in large part to automated collections processes and aggressive audits that saw taxpayers hit with billions in additional taxes after examination.

Four. Point. Nine. Trillion.

It's a whole lot of money. As we've known for years, the majority of federal spending is what's classified as "mandatory," meaning Congress must spend those funds, and the majority of those mandatory funds are earmarked for Social Security, welfare, Medicare and other federal health programs.

(We're also spending hundreds of billions just to manage our $34 TRILLION debt… and failing at it.)

(Oh, and we're spending nearly $500 BILLION to transport and house illegal aliens… YEARLY.)

The $4.9 trillion was "around $790 billion more than the prior year, thanks in large measure to a significant increase in enforcement revenue."

Get ready for a whole lot more "enforcement" in years to come.

You can tell who will oppress and tax us the most because they are the ones who say "democracy" a lot.

Those amounts, meanwhile, "are likely to rise going forward, given that the IRS announced over the summer that, thanks to a new funding boost, it was launching a 'sweeping, historic' tax enforcement initiative" that will include the use of artificial intelligence to boost enforcement.

I'll leave you with this clip from Robin Hood that seems to be becoming our new reality.
