The Kansas City government employee who doxxed Harrison Butker has now been fired

Remember this little gem right here?

If you don't recall, this happened as a result of a pro-Catholic speech given by a Catholic man at a private Catholic university. That man being Kansas City Chiefs kicker, Harrison Butker.

And now the doxxer has been fired by the city.

Yeah, turns out it's not really professional to just throw someone's personal information out in the open like that, presumably in an effort to get them harassed, or worse.

Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas confirmed the firing on KCMO Talk Radio on Thursday. 'The city has separated from the employee who is responsible for the message,' Lucas explained, according to the Daily Mail. 'I think that to me, in many ways, resolves the back and forth that's in the political world. I think there has been accountability from the City of Kansas City. We all look forward to moving on [and] let the Chiefs play.'

The Left will call this "Right-wing cancel culture," though we all know that cancel culture is when you bully someone into censoring themselves; you know, like doxxing them and hoping for a mob to show up at their residence.

Cancel culture is also when you petition an organization to part ways with someone because you disagree with them.

So no, this is not cancel culture. It's what happens when you dox someone from your local government's social media account.

Actions have consequences.
