It's no secret that England now has entire departments dedicated to scanning social media for "hate speech" so they can imprison their citizens.
But England is the ultimate world-conqueror. In its heyday, it covered so much of the world that the sun never set on the British Empire.
Now, they're looking to impose their will on the world once more by enforcing their "hate" speech laws globally!
Here's the London police commissioner threatening the entire world that if you break English law on social media, they will extradite and imprison you.
The reporter asks about ...
... dealing with people who are whipping up this kind of behavior from behind the keyboard who may be in a different country.
And the commissioner affirms,
'Being a keyboard warrior does not make you safe from the law,' he stated. 'You can be guilty of offenses of incitement, of stirring up racial hatred, there are numerous terrorist offenses regarding the publishing of material. All of those offenses are in play if people are provoking hatred and violence on the streets, and we will come after those individuals.'
Ten years ago, the idea of being extradited for breaking another country's speech law would have been laughable in the U.S.
But given the repeated rebuffs of outlawing hate speech in our country by the First Amendment and the courts, would anyone be that surprised if the Biden-Harris administration kowtowed to international laws like this and started extraditing people?
Especially if it were the right people?
(It's pretty clear in that video, he thinks someone like Elon Musk would be the right people.)
On the other hand, hate speech is a Class C crime in England, which means a Category C prison โ often referred to as the cushiest prisons in England, where "inmates are men, not prisoners."
If you're an always-look-on-the-bright-side-of-life person, you could just think of it as a mandatory, all-expenses-paid, all-inclusive trip to England for a few months. And you know the underground meme world will be on fire amongst all the other rabble-rousers you're in with.
Might be fun!
Anyway, have fun trying to round up the good ol' boys in America, redcoats. Ask your great-something grandpa how that went the first time!
