The Louisville Metro police have released the video of Scottie Scheffler's arrest

You guys remember that time when Scottie Scheffler got arrested before the PGA Championship? That was awesome, right?

Well, Louisville Metro police have released the tape of his arrest. You know, the one where he "dragged the police officer with his car" — an officer who is now being punished for not activating his bodycam during the encounter.

Anyhow, here's the tape:

And a dash cam vid from a nearby squad car.

You see that cop roll up on Scottie's car and smack the window?

Guy seems level-headed.

Reminder from last week:

Early this morning, around 5 AM Eastern, police closed roads around the golf course where the PGA Championship is taking place because of an accident where a pedestrian was struck and killed by a shuttle bus.

Golfers and coaches were allowed to enter the golf course, even though it was closed to everyone else.

The world's top pro golfer, Scottie Scheffler, tried to enter the golf course this morning, went around the roadblock (which he assumed was security), and then was pulled over and detained by Louisville police.

If anything, it looks like the officer might want to hand those charges over to himself. It's not Scheffler's fault that man hadn't had his coffee yet.

FYI, Scottie is scheduled to be arraigned on June 3.

We'll keep you updated as to what happens next in this case.
