There is no reality where you drive across the nation quickly with an electric vehicle.
They have to stop every couple of hundred miles and sit for a long time to let those batteries recharge.
"They don't expend any pollution into the air."
Except those recharge stations are powered by electric plants, which are overwhelmingly gas- and coal-powered (because people like Biden keep shutting down the nuclear ones).
Oh, and if the plants go down in an emergency, everyone is screwed.
The idea that you can create a national grid where millions of people can drive coast to coast gliding on sunshine and wind power is insane.
But that's not even the main point here. The point is that this 50-year politician has no clue how an electric car even works.
