The new executive editor for the NYT harnessed his inner George Costanza in this very real and creepy photoshoot with New York Magazine

I know you probably think this is a fake story, but it's not. This is real. This is the world in which we now live.

Again, not a joke.

This is Joe Kahn, the man who is now running the former newspaper known as The New York Times.

...I turned to Joseph Kahn, the new top dog at the Times, and asked whom he incinerated to get here.

"I didn't kill anybody," he said, suppressing a sly smile.

YEESH.

Is this guy trying to harness some weird mix between Hannibal Lector and Creed Bratton?

NY Mag said that Kahn has ascended to "journalism's Iron Throne," which would be true if The Times were still a serious outfit not run by dimwitted ideologue clowns who fall for satire.

Since you probably don't care much about The NYT anymore or whichever woke disciple is running it, let's get to this photo that Kahn took with the magazine, captioned "Kahn relaxing with the paper."

🤣🤣🤣

Fact: No one relaxes with the paper like that.

That's a man trying his best George-Costanza-seduction impression right there.

Some questions:

Why are his shoes off?

And why is he on the floor?

And why does he keep carrying around a mug with the Chinese character for "longevity"?

I don't know, and I don't want to know, but I'm glad to see the clowns at the NYT are still up to their antics!

I'll leave you with this perfect line from the NY Mag article:

He is the ultimate inside man, so sturdy, disciplined, and reverential to the mission of the Times that the very notion of him self-destructing seems improbable.

TOO LATE! 🤣
