The New York Times is trying to gaslight you about Biden's shenanigans
· Aug 1, 2023 · NottheBee.com

Here's how the media gaslights you:

  1. It's not happening. Joe Biden has NEVER discussed business dealing with Hunter or his business partners. He's as pure as the driven snow.
  2. Well, okay. It may have happened once or twice. But it was no big deal. it doesn't affect his ability to be president.
  3. Everyone knows it happened but it's no big deal.

That's what The New York Times published today in light of the Devon Archer testimony:

Yeah, now it's supposed to just be a given that Joe Biden is sort of corrupt. We all knew this when we elected him. Why do you even care? It doesn't matter.

To be fair, it has been well-known at The New York Times for a long time. They just didn't publish it because, well, Biden had an election to win. He was too closely tied to Obama. There's no reason to bring any of that up.

But now that Joe may not be useful:

Here's the same point in visual meme form:

It's important to note that The Times reported what Biden and his aides have claimed for nearly 4 years:

In 2019, Mr. Biden also repeatedly said he had "never discussed" and had "never spoken to" Hunter Biden about his business dealings.

Recently, the White House spokeswoman, Karine Jean-Pierre, has begun speaking in less declarative terms about the matter, saying that Mr. Biden "was never in business with his son."

They just decided to accept those claims at face value and not investigate them because Orange Man had to be defeated, I guess.

There are two things that could happen, in my humble opinion.

  1. First, the narrative could shift against Biden and this could be used to pressure him to drop out. Not likely, but possible.
  2. Second, they could say it's all baked into the cake, but Biden has been great despite all this and it obviously isn't a bad thing. It may actually be a good thing. After all, we have to beat Orange Man Bad again.

Sometime before the election, we will move on to "it's happening and it's good that it's happening."

And lots of sheep are going to go right along with it, shepherded there by The New York Times.
