The New York Times makes the case that Biden’s job growth is mostly immigrants working for low wages.

We all know that the Biden administration has not only failed to stop the flow of millions of illegal immigrants crossing the border but has encouraged it. They have also opened the floodgates to millions of legal immigrants to take jobs for lower wages while many Americans go without.

And it's crazy to think that in his State of the Union address, he would claim record job creation by citing numbers of immigrants working for very little, including the illegal immigrants.

Yet, that is exactly what the champions of the left, The New York Times, suggest he did:

"When the unemployment rate goes down, you would normally expect wage inflation to go up, but that's not what's happening," said Torsten Slok, chief economist at Apollo Global Management. "So there must be something else moving in the labor force, and there is a very likely explanation here that immigrants are coming in and taking jobs.

"But despite the resurgence in the foreign-born labor force — about four-fifths of it are people legally allowed to work in the United States, by one calculation — there are bottlenecks."

The Times included the following chart to show just how much of the last two years job growth was due to foreign workers entering the United States.

Almost all of it.

In addition, the Department of Homeland Security has been issuing an unknown number of two-year work permits to illegal immigrants, which will keep them in the workforce suppressing wages and fanning the flames of discontent amongst Americans unable to find jobs until the next presidential election.

Leaving people desperate for a government bailout to fix the problems the government created for them.

It's a Democrat strategy that their base seems to love.
