The New York Times says THEY were deceived about the Covid lab leak πŸ€”

The New York Times is trying to lay the blame for all their Covid nonsense at the government's feet, especially concerning the almost certainty that the virus was made in a lab.

Just check out this headline:

Misled?

They were misled just like the nine kings of men were tempted by power and misled by Sauron.

Are they claiming it went something like this?

It began with the forging of the Great Narrative. Three narratives were given to the Network News Stations, once the wisest and fairest of all news networks. Seven to the Cable News Lords, great liars and craftsmen of all-day coverage. And nine ... Nine narratives were gifted to the Newspaper Men, who above all else desire power. For within these narratives was bound the strength and will to govern all their audiences. But they were all of them deceived, for another narrative was made. In the land of DC, in the fires of Mount Wuhan, the Dark Lord Fauci forged, in secret, a Master Narrative to control all others.

One Narrative to rule them all, One Narrative to find them, One Narrative to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them.

Anyway, back to The New York Times and their "oopsie" column:

No fewer than 77 Nobel laureates and 31 scientific societies lined up to defend the organization.

So the Wuhan research was totally safe, and the pandemic was definitely caused by natural transmission β€” it certainly seemed like consensus.

We have since learned, however, that to promote the appearance of consensus, some officials and scientists hid or understated crucial facts, misled at least one reporter, orchestrated campaigns of supposedly independent voices, and even compared notes about how to hide their communications in order to keep the public from hearing the whole story.

Oh, it was the fault of all those clever "experts" working for the government, eh?

The same "experts" that outlets like the NYT told us to believe with unquestioning faith?

Just for fun, here are a smattering of the Times' accusations, attacks, and of course race baiting of anyone who dared to suggest Covid came from a lab.

And from a New York Times reporter back in the days when X was still known as Twitter.

And let's not forget this gem about the vaccine:

The columnist makes sure to let us know the researchers from the Wuhan lab are back to experimenting with coronaviruses again, getting ready for the next pandemic.

If anyone needs convincing that the next pandemic is only an accident away, check out a recent paper in Cell, a prestigious scientific journal. Researchers, many of whom work or have worked at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (yes, the same institution), describe taking samples of viruses found in bats (yes, the same animal) and experimenting to see if they could infect human cells and pose a pandemic risk.

I guess we all better break out those masks and work on our social distancing again.

Here, NYT. We fixed your headline for you:

This is an Orwell-free zone. No rewriting of history allowed.
