The people that control the US nukes got their Twitter hacked and the reason is hilarious

The US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) twitter account caused quite a stir this week as the public tried to decipher the mysterious code that was posted to its Twitter account on Sunday.

One Twitter user even went as far as filing a Freedom of Information Act request to learn more about the source and substance of the tweet. But as it turns out, the message wasn't quite as cryptic or onerous as it may have first appeared. Apparently, the person that runs the USSTRATCOM Twitter account left their device unattended for a few minutes and a nearby child "took advantage of the situation" and tweeted out the gibberish. Brilliant!
