Stories like these are tailor-made for our current Internet moment:

Jennifer Flewellen was driving to work on Sept. 25, 2017, when her life changed forever.

Flewellen, then 35, had just dropped her three young sons off at school when she became lightheaded while on the phone with her husband, according to her mom Peggy Means.

The Michigan mother of three "veered off the road and ... hit a pole," after which she was put in a medically induced coma. She remained in a coma for five years โ€” but then she woke up, has continued to recover, and has "completed dozens of hours of physical, speech and occupational therapy."

It's an interesting and encouraging story. Two of Flewellen's boys are now in their 20s and one is a senior in high school. Flewellen is also a grandmother to a 1-year-old girl!

That wholesomeness aside, the reason I found this uplifting story is because of an X post that made me laugh-cry at the same time.

Imagine missing at least 5 years of what happened in the world starting in late 2017...

I think we all might feel this way:

At least she was awake for the event that started it all...
