The median length of business experience among the top 68 officials in the Biden administration is zero years (yes, you read that right)

A new report from the Committee to Unleash Prosperity shows that dozens of the most senior government officials serving under Biden have never worked in business to experience how the economy actually works.

From Daily Wire:

According to the conservative think tank, the top 68 individuals in the administration have spent an average of 2.4 years in the business world, with only one in eight boasting "extensive business experience." The median length of business experience for Biden officials is zero years.

"Surely we want our political class to have a diversity of backgrounds. We want lawyers, grassroots activists, those with political and policy experience, scientists, health experts, and academics with required specialties," the report argued. "But we also want people who have experience running large operations with hundreds and thousands of employees and who understand logistics."

Here's a breakdown of the experience top officials have in managing or running a company, including hiring, sales, logistics, marketing, or anything else that's required to keep our lives running.

  • President Joe Biden: 0 years
  • Vice President Kamala Harris: 0 years
  • Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen: 0 years
  • Secretary of Labor Marty Walsh: 0 years
  • U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai: 0 years

A few people were venture capitalists, including Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo and White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain, but that's about it.

The Committee to Unleash Prosperity also evaluated members of the Trump administration. In addition to President Donald Trump's 45 years in the business world, Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross boasted 42 years, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin had 25 years, and Education Secretary Betsy DeVos spent 23 years in the arena.

The report's conclusion is very telling.

Lefties are all about diversity, but only diversity of skin color, sexual identity, and other things based on appearance.

When it comes to true diversity โ€“ differences of thought and life experience โ€“ they demand uniformity. Marxism kills, folks.

What is the takeaway from these findings? Surely we want our political class to have a diversity of backgrounds. We want lawyers, grassroots activists, those with political and policy experience, scientists, health experts, and academics with required specialties.

But we also want people who have experience running large operations with hundreds and thousands of employees and who understand logistics. We want people who know how to cut costs, manage logistics, increase productivity, meet payroll, and make a profit (or in the case of the government, avoid large losses). We need people at the top rungs of government who have experience dealing with large-scale crises (as we experienced during COVID), and also at least some familiarity with the everyday struggles that businesses have with the government.

Translation: While no president is responsible for every economic factor, the economy under Trump shows what happens when business leaders help run the country. The economy under Biden shows what happens when lawyers, activists, and ideologues exclusively run the country.

Vote accordingly!
