Ladies and gentlemen, The Washington Post is a little confused here and it's making me giggle.

According to The Washington Post, the mysterious reasons fentanyl seizures have dropped at the southern border could be:

  • Demand for fentanyl dropping

  • A shortage of ingredients for fentanyl

  • Cartel wars

Or (and this is where they get a little confused in their writing):

The White House says the drop is 'thanks to President Trump's policies empowering law enforcement officials to dismantle drug trafficking networks.' Yet the decline started before Trump took office in January.

The contraction represents something of a mystery, say antidrug agents and researchers.

They got even closer further down the page:

The decline is occurring even as the Trump administration has deployed thousands of troops to the border and expanded drone flights.

But they found a way to justify their thinking.

With more boots on the ground, you'd think seizures would go up β€” not down.

Bros, it's not complicated...

Karoline Levitt let WaPo have it over this ridiculous article:

"I think the American people understand why there's been a fentanyl drop."

How is it that the fake news media always live up to their name even after years of us mocking them for it?
