Remember this hair-pulling story from earlier this year?

Communities in rural Michigan are revolting against a decision to allow a Chinese-owned firm to build a battery plant in the area, according to footage of a recent Green Charter Township board meeting obtained by conservative outlet The Midwesterner.

Well, the good people in Green Charter Township were not happy with the decision of their leaders to let this whole thing go forward — and brother, they showed up:

The entire local government of a small Michigan township was voted out this week, in a recall election over concerns about a Chinese-affiliated company's plans to build an electric vehicle battery plant nearby.

On Tuesday, in a special election called just over this issue, the five Republicans who sold the city out to the Chi-Comms were all voted out and replaced with candidates who ran with no party affiliation.

Town officials were accused of "ignoring voter concerns over China-linked company Gotion's plan to open a $2.3 billion EV plant there." Here are the five unfortunate "public servants" who were shown the door:

And once they showed them the door — they literally changed the locks!

Gotta love that good midwestern sensibility!
