Why is a Baylor professor teaching a “Harry Potter class” that supports trans ideology in apparent violation of the school’s policies? Read the replies to this hot take.

I don't know what's more embarrassing here:

A Baptist university professor who is white-knighting for transgenderism and DEI ... or a Baptist university that has a class on Harry Potter.

This is what happens, Christians if you let the spirit of the age rule in your institutions. You get professors of Harry Potter telling JK Rowling "Shame on you!" because she doesn't think men can become women and women's spaces/rights should be protected.

This professor at Baylor thinks this is hateful and not "inclusive."

I just want to get into the replies now, which are awesome, and the fact that this dude violates Baylor's statement of values when he endorses trans madness.

His defense here is something else...

He's blissfully unaware of the "trans agenda" and he's just a white boomer Christian who is loving his neighbor by ... lying to them and saying that men can become girls.

So. Heckin'. Winsome?

As alluded to above, Dr. Garrett is in violation of Baylor's statement of values.

It makes you reminisce fondly of the days when Baptists would just dismiss Harry Potter as "witchcraft" and call it a day.

😂

As misguided as that may be, it's better than this generation of people raised on Harry Potter as if it's Holy Scripture.

This is at a Baptist and Christian school!

Never give the libs an inch!
