Do you have a number in your mind?
If not, think of one.
How many pull-ups do you think the human body can do in a single day?
BEHOLD:
ELEVEN THOUSAND, SEVEN HUNDRED AND SEVEN.
Absolutely wild.
If you're wondering, yes, Yohan did get to take breaks. The most pull-ups anyone has ever done without a break is 1,224.
In a previous attempt, Yohan managed to do 8,707 ... but then someone else did 8,940, forcing him to fight to reclaim his crown.
On Instagram, Yohan had this to say:
When I first tried, I was so nervous that I slept lightly for about 3 hours the day before and tried to set the record. My shoulders started hurting from 2,000, my abs started cramping at 4,000, and I cried uncontrollably and thought "Why am I doing this?" hundreds of times during the challenge. I really succeeded with a record of 8,707.
That joy ended in failure less than a week later when a new Guinness record of 8,940 was registered.
My wife was due to give birth to her second child soon, so I hesitated to try again and was afraid to experience the extreme for 24 hours again.
But I felt like I would regret giving up like this for the rest of my life, and I really didn't want to finish without trying.
That's how I tried the second challenge.
Congrats, bro. Enjoy it, because there's probably someone training right now for 12,000. ๐
