This browser extension lets you view the race and pronoun data of companies as you browse the web. Because everything is racist.

I never knew I needed something like this.

Probably because I don't. Because I don't particularly care about the gender and racial makeup of the companies buy from. Because I'm not absolutely obsessed with identity politics.

And no, in case you were wondering, I do not plan to participate in the 2021 Ally Challenge.

Because the only way to beat racism and sexism is to make literally everything about race and gender!

Anyway, back to that browser plugin.

It's called Diversity Plug and it's a free Chrome extension that allows you "to view diversity statistics as you cruise around the Internet. If the data isn't available, tweet companies to join the share to care initiative to publicly disclose their diversity data," according to their website.

So, I gather that the idea is this extension will help woke white ladies shopping on Target.com to shop there anyway, but feel guilty while they do.

Also, if companies don't have that data publicly available, with just a click of a button you can harass them on Twitter with a pre-written tweet.

Here's a video explaining how it works:

Did you catch that bit about pronouns?

A lot of the companies this plugin works with have names and pictures of their executive boards, but the extension's creators dared not commit the mortal sin of ASSUMING THEIR GENDERS! (though they did assume their races, which is still okay? I think?). So, instead, they will only list the gender makeup of places that include pronouns in the bios.

So, only the wokest of the woke businesses.

This is from their FAQs:

I don't know how people live this way, dude.
