This was one of the strangest escape plans in the history of shoplifting.
Dude allegedly stole something (looks like a pair of glasses) from a mall in Houston and then when he was chased by police, who have a heavy presence there, he made possibly the worst decision of his life.

What's more, police say he yelled "Come get me" before making the jump.
It was 2:20 p.m. on Sunday when police were alerted of this theft, which means he made this fall around 2:30. Fortunately for the thief, he was able to ice his injury immediately.
He was transported to a local hospital and treated for his injuries, but nothing can heal his dignity.
