This Florida teacher claims to be under investigation for showing kids Disney movie with gay storyline

Guys, Ron DeSantis is SUPER evil and totally OBSESSED with Disney because he doesn't see the benefit in pushing homosexual propaganda to kids in the name of fighting the sun monster!

Such an evil Republican!

This teacher named Jenna Barbee in Hernando County, Florida took to TikTok to allege that she's under investigation for showing the PG-rated Disney movie Strange World, which pushes LGBT propaganda on kids.

By the way, in case you didn't know this, a SHOCKING amount of time in public school classrooms are spent watching movies that have almost zero educational value.

So that's par for the course.

But this teacher explains her choice of movie because it had something to do with her environment class. Because gay Disney movies must help fight climate change.

A parent, who happens to be on the school board, caught wind of the fact that this movie that shouldn't be shown to kids in school was played in Barbee's class, leading the school board to send out a notice to parents as well as an apology.

Here's how Barbee addressed the issue in front of the school board:

"A school board member, an elected official of power, who was supposed to be nonpartisan, is allowed to present to the public that she is Christian and that God appointed her to the board. And yet it is indoctrinated [sic] that I showed a Disney movie. I'm a first-year teacher," said Barbee.

The teacher told district board members the movie was in no way sexual and was tied to the current lesson plan of the environment and ecosystems.

Hey, if that's your excuse, cool. I'd be totally fine banning climate change propaganda from schools too, considering how it's an anti-human ideology.

In fact, let's just ban all left-wing Marxism from schools. How about that idea, DeSantis?

The mom and school board member handled the unruly and entitled rookie teacher well:

At the end of the school board meeting, (Shannon) Rodriguez said she called the state department of education regarding the incident, which prompted the state investigation. She said her daughter is in Barbee's class.

She said at the district meeting Barbee broke school policy because she did not get the specific movie approved by school administration and said the teacher is "playing the victim."

"It is not a teacher's job to impose their beliefs upon a child: religious, sexual orientation, gender identity, any of the above. But allowing movies such as this assist teachers in opening a door, and please hear me, they assist teachers in opening a door for conversations that have no place in our classrooms," Rodriguez said.

This young lady needs to learn that, as a teacher, she doesn't get to play the victim like this. She violated school policy and possibly violated state law.

Thank God for women like Shannon who are running for school board and wielding their power for good.

It's a blessing when God appoints just and good magistrates to rule, and that includes school boards.
