Connecticut man Azmir Djurkovic led police on a high-speed chase through Cromwell, driving a Mercedes E300.
โThe trooper observed a Mercedes E300 traveling at a high rate of speed, faster than the flow of traffic,' state police said in their report. โThe trooper estimated the Mercedes to be in excess of 100 mph, and its speed was later confirmed to be 132 mph by a speed laser unit.'
132 mph!

The trooper flipped on his lights and tried to initiate a traffic stop, but Djurkovic wasn't having it.
Instead he pushed his pedal to the metal and sped away, weaving in and out of traffic to evade the officer.
โDue to the hazard posed to the public, the trooper terminated attempts to stop the eluding vehicle,' state police said.
But the police ran the Mecedes's plates and tracked down Djurkovic.
He admitted to being the driver and said he had to speed and couldn't stop for the police because he was late to a job interview.
What kind of job was he interviewing for?
Getaway driver?

In the end, Djurkovic was arrested and faces charges of reckless driving, disobeying the signal of an officer, failure to maintain lane, passing on the right, improper turn, passing at an unsafe distance, engaging police in a pursuit, interfering with an officer and first-degree reckless endangerment.
No word, however, as to whether or not he got the job!
