This is CNN's current homepage 🤣

You know these guys were scrambling all night trying to spin Joe Biden's embarrassing gaffe into a positive light:

This is just the sort of tempest in the teapot that Washington obsesses over (Biden said a bad word!) and that the average voter couldn't care less about.

Which means we shouldn't linger too long on this episode. After all, presidents have been caught on hot mics before saying less than complimentary things and it has never mattered to their presidency. Not one bit.

You guys literally made it your mission to talk about Trump tweets for 4 years and make sure every voter knew about all the meanie mean things Trump said.

Before we move on, however, I do think it's worth pointing out one thing: How utterly normal the news cycle of Biden's "son of a bitch" comments was.

You have to laugh. These people are actually paid to write stuff like this.

Now, compare that series of events to what we all experienced over the previous four years.

Donald Trump regularly berated and belittled members of the media, and never once apologized.

Peter Doocy got cursed out for asking a question about inflation. Donald Trump had a thousand newsrooms regularly trying to pin him as a genocidal, idiotic, white-supremacist Nazi. Methinks there's a few shades of context that are missing here.

That Biden called a reporter a "stupid son of a bitch" is regrettable. That he called to apologize for it is commendable.

Biden is a slimy, rude politician who will smile through gritted teeth when he accidentally says what he's thinking. He's got no spine, but he'll put on a show for the cameras when he must.

Don't disregard the fact that we now have a president, again, who operates under the normal rules of decorum and politeness.

Yeah... "politeness":

Gotta love CNN's three-ring circus!
