Right or wrong, you can't say it's all that surprising that a hardened southern law enforcement officer like LA GOP Rep. Clay Higgins would react this way:
The incident occurred at a press conference featuring Higgins, Rep. Lauren Boebert, and other Republicans; the presser had been targeted by liberal protesters.
Higgins, who is an Army vet, former Louisiana sheriff, and current reserve law enforcement officer, later defended his actions in probably the most hilarious way possible:
Higgins defended his actions in a brief statement Thursday.
"Activist was a 103M. Threatening," Higgins said. "He was escorted out and turned over to Capitol Police. Textbook."
What's "103M," you ask? According to the police code manual:
Textbook, indeed.
