This man tried to set his ex-girlfriend's house on fire and justice was served within seconds

This is one of the greatest examples of instant karma I've ever seen right here.

[Warning: Mess Around, Find Out]

Artemio Sanchez-Ortega, 46, of Albuquerque, wanted to get revenge on his ex-girlfriend back in May, so he filled up a large container with gasoline and made his way to her home where she and her children were sleeping.

Sanchez-Ortega can be seen here carrying the container to the residence:

Sanchez-Ortega reaches the residence and hops the fence, pouring the gasoline, for some reason, on the cars in the driveway. I'm not sure if he started the fire early on accident, or maybe thought the fire would eventually reach the house. Regardless, the fire left damage to the vehicles in the driveway and a front yard tree. The flames barely damaged the structure, and the suspect's ex and her children escaped without injury.

Just so you can see it again, I'll leave this here (I time stamped this for our entertainment).

Sanchez-Ortega's ex-girlfriend says he had called her three times around 11:30 p.m. that night and she could tell he'd been drinking. She didn't answer the calls, so I'll assume he left some wicked voicemails.

(Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, never play with fire, especially when you've got a bunch of booze in your system.)

Believe it or not, Sanchez-Ortega was able to make his way back to his truck and drive away from this scene after lighting himself on fire.

Well, now we wait patiently for that beautiful, scarface mugshot of his.

Make sure to smile big for the camera!
