This Massachusetts boy was sent home from school for wearing a shirt that said "There Are Only 2 Genders" and then he gave this absolute fire speech to the school board

Okay, this is what freedom of speech looks like, folks. This brave 12-year-old from Massachusetts showed up to school wearing a shirt reading "There are only 2 genders." He received a ton of support for the shirt from other students, but when the "adults" caught wind of his based tee it was time to take it off or go home.

Well, I think you know what choice this kid made.

Here he is retelling his story to the Middleborough School Board:

So calm. So collected.

SO INCREDIBLY BASED!!!

I was told that I would need to remove my shirt before I could return to class. When I nicely told them that I didn't want to do that they called my father. Thankfully, my dad supported my decision and came to pick me up.

What did my shirt say? Five simple words: "There are only two genders." Nothing harmful, nothing threatening; just a statement I believe to be a fact…

I don't complain when I see pride flags and diversity posters hung throughout the school. You know why? It's because others have a right to their beliefs just as I do.

Not one person, staff or student, told me that they were bothered by what I was wearing — actually, just the opposite. Several kids told me that they supported my actions and they wanted one too.

Yup, the little man was sent home for some words on a shirt.

And I'll assume dad couldn't have been prouder of him for this.

Plus, it sounds to me like a lot of the other students really liked the shirt and agreed with its statement, which tells you a lot about where kids are on this issue.

So even though this kid was sent home from school, I gotta say:

We need more of this in our public schools!

So keep it up, based schoolchildren.

The fight has only just begun.
