Here's a nun who survived the 1918 pandemic AND recovered from Covid-19 just in time to celebrate her 117th birthday
· Feb 10, 2021 · NottheBee.com

Sister André was born on Feb. 11, 1904, and is believed to be the second oldest living person in the world.

She has now lived through two world wars and two worldwide pandemics.

In January of 2021, she tested positive for Covid-19 at the ripe age of 116.

81 of the 88 residents in her retirement home in Toulon, France also tested positive. But a spokesman for the retirement home has announced that André has since recovered from the virus, which also makes her the oldest person in Europe to survive Covid-19.

Happy 117th birthday Sister André!
