Welsh preacher faces prison time for holding up Bible verse outside abortion clinic about God's love for us

We already know that police across the pond will arrest you for silently praying outside abortion clinics, so it shouldn't come as a total shock when they jail pastors for proclaiming scripture there as well.

Stephen Green, a Christian pastor from South Wales, was arrested because he held up a sign with a Bible verse on it outside an abortion clinic in London.

Green stood in a protected "buffer" zone outside an abortion clinic, meant to protect women intent on killing their babies from facing any kind of moral resistance on their conscience, and held up a sign with Psalm 139:13 on it.

For thou hast possessed my reins: Thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.

For those not well versed in King James' English:

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.

Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

What a horrible statement, right? Created intricately by a loving God? Knit together inside the sacred space of a mother's womb? "Wonderfully made"???

If you share such hate speech in the UK, they'll toss your butt in jail!

Green was given a notice to appear in court last week and was told that he could face up to six months in prison for violating the law meant to protect abortionists and mothers complicit in the deaths of their children.

Here's how Green responded:

Ahead of the hearing, Green said: "I was deeply shocked to receive the summons from Ealing Council.

"I see this prosecution as an attack on the Bible and free speech. I am determined to defend myself and fight for justice.

"People are right to be concerned about the buffer zone legislation. To bar Christian witness and to control what people can say in an area is draconian and anti-Christian.

"There is a huge principle at stake here. If we are not free to hold a sign with a verse from Psalm 139 on it in a London street, then none of us is free."

Green's legal counsel says that the law is unjust and only aims to industrialize and normalize the act of abortion in the UK.

Rather than dealing with the loss of life, England wants to remove all barriers from the act of abortion by removing the presence of and prohibiting the speech of anyone opposed to the slaughter.

How the UK has fallen.
