For those of you unfamiliar with the podcasting world, I would recommend that you don't trust TIME Magazine to help you get familiar.
You can make your arguments for the best or most important podcasts ever, go ahead. But TIME left off a couple that, in all honesty, are probably the two most important podcasters of all time.
Yes, TIME made a list of the Top 100 best and most important podcasts ever and left off The Joe Rogan Experience, the biggest podcast in the world, and Adam Carolla, the Godfather of Podcasting, the man who launched the entire genre.

But let's be fair. What shows DID make the cut? Surely none that could be lost, right?
I mean what list would be complete without ... Gilmore Guys, or The Ezra Klein Show, or Call Her Daddy.
I mean THOSE are the most important podcasts ever! Right?
I mean, sure Adam Carolla essentially INVENTED podcasting, but how can that impact be compared with Wiser Than Me with Julia Louis-Dreyfuss?
They couldn't even bring themselves to put Ben Shapiro on here, or any of the plethora of very popular normie conservative podcasts.
TIME has really lost the plot, haven't they?
