Today is the 20th anniversary of the Killdozer so I compiled a meme thread for y'all

In 2004, a man who just wanted to be left alone enacted spectacular vengeance upon the local authorities that had relentlessly harassed his small business.

I won't get too in the weeds (there are YouTube videos galore on this subject), but if you don't know the story, here's the short version.

Marvin Heemeyer moved to in Granby, Colorado, in the early '90s and bought a foreclosed 2-acre lot where he built a muffler repair shop. What he didn't know is that his purchase had stalled the development plans of a wealthy businessman.

Over the next decade, this businessman and his allies in town led a multi-year bureaucratic campaign that bogged Heemeyer down in endless fines and red tape. Heemeyer seems to have backed out of several deals as a way to stick it to his enemies, but eventually, after his lawsuit failed, he sold his business and decided to literally bulldoze the confusing legal system.

After armoring his dozer, he demolished the town hall, the workplace of a city official on the zoning board, the local newspaper, and the homes and businesses of the influential families who had targeted him. He killed no one except for himself after the dozer got stuck in a hardware store.

The libs get really upset about this every year, because we aren't supposed to venerate a salty old white mechanic who welded himself a tank. That honor must be reserved for black career felons like George Floyd!

Whether Heemeyer was justified or not is God's decision, not mine.

But since this is the 20th anniversary and the guy has become a symbol of reasonable men becoming unreasonable to fight tyrants, and because memes are funny and we all need a laugh, here are a few of the best posts I've come across today:

Regardless of what you think of the whole thing, Killdozer is going down in history as an American moment that's as iconic as the shootout at the OK Corral!
