Comedy Central is losing one of its biggest stars, the host of the Daily Show, Trevor Noah.

Noah has spent the last 7 years trying to be funny after taking over for the also not-at-all funny Jon Stewart in 2015.

Watch Noah's announcement here:

From Deadline Hollywood:

He revealed the news at Thursday's taping of the show. He is the latest late-night host to leave following the announced 2023 exit of James Corden from The Late Late Show and the cancellation of Samantha Bee's Full Frontal.

He is understood to have been working with the network for a "long time" to figure out how he can maintain the demanding daily schedule.

Noah is a successful standup comic and he isn't likely to leave the comedy scene after this latest move.

Noah has spent the last year or so annoying people on both sides of the aisle and saying some pretty controversial things that leftists did not appreciate.

So, he can be a little based sometimes, but not all that funny.

This is supposed to be the funniest man on television and he's joining Samantha Bee and James Corden as the latest to leave the Late-Night TV rankings.

None of them will be missed.
