AOC is back.
Somehow, against the nearly 100% odds of survival, she has overcome the sniffles of the dreaded OMICRON variant that she probably caught partying it up in drag queen bars in Miami.
If you thought America's freshest communist was gonna take some time off from showing her hatred toward the concept of inalienable rights, the sovereignty and liberty of the individual, or the U.S. Constitution, you were sorely mistaken.
First, she posted these three photos.
It used to be that people shared pregnancy tests on social media. Our inverted culture has now demonized having kids but thinks it's cool to post Covid tests on Instagram.
As for the photo of AOC dying from the Omicron under her plush blanket on her designer couch, I gotta say that it really pays to be one of the comrades in charge.
Cute dog though, AOC. Even the biggest and baddest commies loved their pets!
Anyway, AOC wants us to all know that's she better and ready to get back on track with destroying the Constitution and primarying Chuck Schumer in the Senate.
Welp, so it happened. Got COVID, probably omicron.
Wait, I thought that couldn't happen with the vax+booster combo you've been wanting to force on everyone.
As of today I am thankfully recovered and wrapping up quarantine, but COVID was no joke. For a while I've noted the term "mild" is misleading when the bar is hospitalization and death.
Lady, please. Some of us had OG Covid or the even-more-fun Delta strain. You're not gonna convince us you were on death's door as a vaxxed 32-year-old elitist with the Omicron cold.
Even "mild" cases can result in long COVID, which includes a range of conditions like cognitive impairment, POTS, & chronic fatigue. This isn't to be a downer or induce fear, just a reminder that we need to be careful (N95s in crowded indoor spaces like stores) and if you do get it, it's key to care for yourself and REST.
Not to induce fear guys, but strap a surgical-grade mask tightly on your face whenever you leave home.
The idea of forcing people to work just 5 days after symptoms start is sociopathic and 100% informed by a culture that accepts sacrificing human lives for profit margins as a fair trade.
Huh. "Sacrificing human lives for profit" seems familiar to AOC. I can't quite place it...
Anyway, AOC says the antidote to all this is "community."
You know, the thing citizens of her district in NYC are physically struggling to find under the totalitarian edicts of a government that has worked to divide people over the last two years.
But AOC doesn't mean "community" in the traditional sense of the world. No, she focuses on the "comm-" prefix and adds a little "-unist" at the end with a direct attack on the evils of "rugged individualism."
If you've noticed, much of the emphasis of media conversations on COVID are individualistic: wear a mask, get vaccinated to protect *yourself,* go back to work even w/ symptoms bc *you're* "fine" (even if you're not). And while some of these recommendations are good- like getting a vaccine + wearing masks where appropriate, the motivations for them shouldn't just be selfish. It should also be bc we actually give a damn about other people - our disabled neighbors, our coworkers who haven't said (and shouldn't feel obligated to say) they're immunocompromised, etc.
She's not even engaging with the 40% of Americans who aren't "fully" vaxxed. She's criticizing the leftist media for telling people how to protect themselves instead of guilt-tripping them.
In principle, I agree with AOC. We should love our neighbor, but if that's the summary of your argument, you're missing the first part of that equation about loving God. You cannot love your neighbor without loving God, and God cares deeply about people's individual liberty.
It's truly bizarre to me that giving a s*** about other people is a polarizing political stance, but my dad used to say that life makes you repeat lessons until you learn them.
Nope. Caring about people isn't the polarizing issue here, but thanks for dehumanizing half the country! I'm sure that will make it easier to send us to the gulags later.
Oh, speaking about your dad's lessons on repeating lessons until they're learned, have you learned any lessons about the abject failures of Marxism over the last century and a half?
And if there's one lesson I think we as a country are repeating until we learn, it's that community and collective good is our best shot through our greatest challenges - way more than discorded acts of "rugged individualism" and the bootstrap propaganda we've been spoon-fed since birth.
Notice that this subjective statement has no bearing in law, legal analysis, any philosophical entreaty on human rights, theological premise discussing ontological arguments, or civic tradition.
Getting real tired of your excuse for ending America being that we were all taught to be too "rugged," AOC.
And if you think I'm joking...
Individualism is inadequate for planetary forces like climate change or global pandemics, no less societal ones like healthcare, economic inequity and racism. But WE, as a collective, can confront them. In a world of MEs, let's build team WE. 💙
Anyways that's enough for today, stay healthy and blessed and let's keep building.
Yeah, she just tacked that all on at the end. By "individualism is inadequate," she means that everyone who doesn't like a Marxist remake of society is evil.
...let's build team WE.
Anyway, I'm glad AOC is feeling better, especially since she's been dead for a year after she was killed in the January 6th riot.
