President Trump told reporters Friday morning that he was so pleased with the tariffs bringing in money for Americans that he's considering a rebate for working people.
We're thinking about that [a rebate], actually. We have so much money coming in we're thinking about a little rebate, but the big thing we want to do is pay down debt. We're thinking about a rebate. That's a very good question. You just made a lot of news.
I mean, sure? But many "we're thinking about it" comments never come to fruition.
But this time, President Trump has some MAGA men in his corner.
Enter: Josh Hawley.
I can't wait to see the Democrats vote AGAINST writing tax surplus rebate checks to working Americans.
Of course, lots of Americans aren't entirely onboard with the idea themselves:
