I love when two female journalists at The New York Times have to cover a story like this:

Can you just imagine the conversations these two women had when they were putting this story together?

Let's get to the facts:

These five wind farms were all under construction on the East Coast.

  • All five were given leases by the Biden-autopen administration.

  • Trump cited national security concerns when canceling their leases, but nobody really knows what that means (but Trump is passionate about the whales).

  • One of the farms, Vineyard Wind 1 off Massachusetts, was already running, albeit only partially.

  • The other four farms are Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind off Virginia, Sunrise Wind and Empire Wind off New York, and Revolution Wind off Rhode Island and Connecticut.

Here's Trump's thoughts on wind farms from back in the early days of term 2:

Trump has been anti-wind farm from the get-go, and a judge recently struck down his attempt to cut $690 million in funding for the "ugly" things.

If Trump's new fusion company could just solve our energy problem once and for all, then we'd never have to talk about wind or solar energy ever again!
