Trump was indicted again and this judge is probably the worst-case scenario for him

Guys, I hate to break it to you, but there's some really bad news around this latest Trump indictment.

Yesterday, Jack Smith, head of the DOJ's special counsel investigating Donald Trump and the January 6th riot, announced last night ANOTHER indictment of Donald Trump for inciting an insurrection by maintaining that the election that the Democrats and media later admitted to rigging wasn't on the level.

Here's Jack Smith announcing the indictment:

And, instead of writing out a full explanation of the ridiculousness of these charges, I'll let Clay Travis explain it on his Fox News appearance last night:

They are trying to criminalize a legal theory in this indictment... In December of 2022 they went and changed the law as it pertains to the electoral count act... there were legal advisers to Donald Trump who said they believed that Mike Pence had the ability to impact the way that we were receiving these electoral votes.

If there wasn't discrepancy and uncertainty in the law, why did they change the law to clarify what the Vice President's role was in December of 2022...

Not only is it a first amendment attack on Donald Trump, more significantly, it's an attack on legal representation itself and what arguments can be made on behalf of a client. This is outrageous, this is indefensible. And, oh, by the way, it's all happening while Joe Biden, who has committed, in my opinion, worse acts than Richard Nixon, worse acts than Bill Clinton, by far worse acts than Donald Trump is getting by on being the head of a family crime syndicate.

Basically, Trump's lawyers had a legal theory, as fringe as it was, that Mike Pence could hold up the electoral process. This indictment is an attempt to jail Trump for espousing this theory that was apparently at least somewhat legit since Congress later made a law that would once and for all rule out this legal theory.

The whole case rests on proving Trump knew what he was doing was a lie. The prosecution must, without a shadow of a doubt, prove that Trump knew he had lost the election but was trying to overturn the results. Imagine trying to prove what someone thought three years ago and you have an idea of how stupid this all is.

But everyone reading this knows it's a sham.

The news gets worse, however. They made sure the most ridiculous charge in history would be tried by an activist judge in the bluest area of the Swamp:

Yes, the judge assigned to the Trump case is Tanya Chutkan, an Obama appointee in DC who is known for being the TOUGHEST judge in the J6 kangaroo courts.

She often sentences J6 defendants to jail time that EXCEEDS what the prosecution asks for.

She's an anti-conservative, anti-Trump hater and you know she is just licking her chops with the chance to lock up the big guy.

The chances Trump ends up in jail? In my non-professional opinion, it's somewhere around 99.9%

Chutkan has sentenced at least 38 people convicted of Capitol riot-related crimes. All 38 received prison terms, ranging from 10 days to over five years, according to an Associated Press analysis of court records...

Other judges typically have handed down sentences that are more lenient than those requested by prosecutors. Chutkan, however, has matched or exceeded prosecutors' recommendations in 19 of her 38 sentences. In four of those cases, prosecutors weren't seeking any jail time at all.

She has sent people to jail when FEDERAL PROSECUTORS did not even want to send them to jail. She obviously has TDS and an extreme vindictive hatred for Trump voters.

And now she gets her dream case: The chance to make sure the States are never United again by throwing a president in prison.
