UPDATE: THERE HAVE BEEN TWO WILD TWISTS IN THIS STORY. SEE HERE FOR INFO.

Do you remember that viral video from last week that went absolutely everywhere?

Yeah, the dude showed up to an online hearing about a suspended license while he was driving his car.

Classic viral content.

The only problem? He was reportedly the victim of a clerical error and government incompetence.

This poor dude. He was completely embarrassed by the whole thing. And he never should have been in that position in the first place. In 2022, a judge rescinded his suspension, but some knucklehead - I mean, public servant - at the courthouse didn't properly file the paperwork.

And now he's on everyone's feeds like he's an idiot.

Harris spent two days in jail. And Thursday, Harris said he went back to the Secretary of State to try to resolve the matter ...

Harris said, 'Always double-check behind these workers because they will say that they will do something and they don't do it,' Harris said.

Never trust a government employee! Let that be a lesson for all of us.
