We've got another update on the Kelly case in Arizona for ya.
After a mistrial where the jury could not reach a verdict in the alleged shooting of an illegal immigrant by George Alan Kelly, the state has chosen not to pursue a retrial.
The case is dropped; Kelly is free to go.
Here's Mr. Kelly being interviewed after leaving the courthouse.
Kelly: The nightmare's over ... they (the victim's family) have my sympathy. My sincere sympathy.
Reporter: Do you worry about the next few months or years where you live, people showing up, and people protesting like this behind you?
Kelly: God'll look after me. Like he always has.
The defense has requested that the case be dismissed with prejudice. This would mean that the state would not be able to bring the case up for trial ever again. This will be decided at a hearing next week.
Hopefully, this will be the final update on George Alan Kelly and he'll be allowed to live a quiet and peaceful life on his own land.
