"I'm running as a proud Democrat for the Senate."

He tried his best to salvage the sentence but it only ended up making things worse. Instead of correcting himself, he ended up saying that he is running for Senate and the presidency. I don't even think he realized he had said something wrong.

Biden then proceeded to tell people to go to a website that doesn't exist before coughing into his hand:

Of course, earlier in the presidential race, Biden famously said, "My name is Joe Biden, I'm a Democratic candidate for the United States Senate."

This is beyond the point of sad. The guy needs to be at home with his family.
