America, I am so dang proud of you:

But honestly, I think we could up that count a bit.

I love how they try to shock us with "174 animals," like we're all wolfing down 50 cows each year, and then they clarify that 137 of those are shrimp.

Bro, I was reading a book on penguins to my kids and it talked about how the little birds scoop up mouthfuls of krill (small shrimp) at a time. Someone should tell them they are murdering countless thousands of innocent crustaceans every year!

Also, 12 fish? Do you know how much salmon, trout, tilapia, and mahi-mahi I eat in a year? No, no you obviously don't.

Vox went on:

Your decision to eat less meat can influence those around you, which can ripple out. It can be hard to incorporate more plant-based foods into your diet, but we're here to help.

Yeah, no thanks. I'm not gonna eat kale and crickets for the rest of my life, you loonies.

The ratio was glorious at time of publishing:

Here were a few of the absolutely hilarious replies:

You know what to do America! They might be trying to take away your beef by driving inflation through the roof, but we can do this!

Break out that grill and get to work!
