If you're someone who thinks a vax date "sounds like fun," I don't know how to say this nicely, but you may be a bit unhinged. Also, who goes to the movies at 10 am?? Nothing about this date makes any sense.

It's not a random TikTok, either. The video was posted to the Youth Affairs Council Victoria TikTok account and is apparently supposed to convince teenagers that it's a "cute date" to get vaccinated without parental consent and then go see Spiderman. Because in Australia you don't need parental permission to get a vaccine, but you do need government permission to see a movie.

At the end of the video, the two girls end their cute date by skipping down a rainbow carpet while the words "Live, Love, Jab for more cute dates in your life" are displayed on the screen.

Super inspirational. And it ticks all the woke boxes.

It's really hard to believe this was posted unironically because it's just painfully awkward, but the Australian youth organization has lots of other "cute" videos with information on getting vaccinated.

Someone out there is getting paid to make content like this and that should make you very sad.
