While the idea of a big, fancy, megachurch Nativity play with live animals may seem like a great spectacle worth attending, it does come with certain hazards.
This happened at Champion Forest Baptist Church in Houston, TX, and you'll be glad to know that the woman is alright.
NBC News reports,
Church communications director Steven Miori said in a statement that ‘an unexpected incident occurred when a camel used in the production struck a guest in the audience.
‘Champion Forest regrets that this happened. Our team responded immediately, and emergency services were engaged,' Miori added, saying the church has remained in contact with the family.
The church has also stopped walking animals down the aisles in between spectators.
