When Trump took office, he signed executive orders barring federal funding from organizations involved in DEI.
Here are the two orders:
Executive Order 14151, "Ending Radical and Wasteful Government DEI Programs and Preferencing": This order directs the termination of all DEI/DEIA (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility) offices, positions, programs, and related grants or contracts within the federal government.
Executive Order 14173, "Ending Illegal Discrimination and Restoring Merit-Based Opportunity": This order targets entities outside the federal government. It rescinds the decades-old Executive Order 11246, which required federal contractors to have affirmative action plans, and mandates that contractors and grant recipients certify they do not operate "illegal DEI" programs. It also directs the Attorney General to identify private corporations, large non-profits, and universities for potential civil rights investigations related to their DEI practices.
Many have suspected that publicly funded universities were using different language to keep their DEI practices going in secret. Now, thanks to some actual journalism, we have proof.
Meet our friend Rebecca Loftus, the white liberal woman who teaches criminal justice at Arizona State University.
In a conversation with an undercover journalist with Accuracy in Media, Loftus talked about how DEI was still being conducted in disguise so they can continue to receive federal funding.
I'll leave you the full video, then post a few clips if you don't have time to watch the whole thing. 👇

The best part? The journalists who worked on the story confronted her in her office and the result is gold.
You know if it's happening here, it's happening everywhere.
