A baby boy in New Zealand who needed lifesaving surgery was taken away from his parents because they demanded the hospital use blood from an unvaccinated individual in the transfusion for the heart surgery.

The parents are against the untested Covid-19 vaccination and wanted their son to receive a transfusion only from unvaccinated blood. But the court in New Zealand ruled against the parents and police took the baby into temporary custody for the surgery.

Watch the heartbreaking video as the government in New Zealand kidnaps a child.

It's so hard to watch.

All this because the government-run Universal Healthcare System in New Zealand didn't want to make an accommodation for people who have a strong and personal conviction about the Covid vaccine.

Of course, from the perspective of the government in New Zealand and the news media in general, they're saving this baby's life.

On Thursday morning the parents said, via lawyer Grey, that they would not appeal against the decision, and would prioritise a "peaceful time with their baby until the operation, and to support him through the operation".

But later that day, Justice Ian Gault was forced to issue a minute ordering the parents to allow the doctors' to make preparations for the surgery, after the health service reported they were obstructing staff taking blood tests, performing a chest X-ray and performing an anaesthetic assessment.

Gault pointed out that the issue of the surgery itself had not been in question in the original matter, but now the parents "evidently do not consent to the surgery or pre-operative checks" and he would therefore need to make further orders to enable the surgery to proceed.

The surgery has now taken place, and the baby boy is said to be recovering well.

But the refusal of the State to make accommodations for parents and then kidnapping children so that they can have things their way is dangerous and tragic.
