It's DeSantis from the top rope!

Florida Democrats and national Democrats and their entire media propaganda machine, celebrities, and woke corporations have all been working overtime to label Florida's anti-grooming bill on parental rights in schools as the supposed "Don't Say Gay" bill.

DeSantis has seen the blowback and he has a message for these woke lefties:

Here is DeSantis speaking to a group of voters and letting them and the whole world know that he ain't afraid of the woke mob.

In the state of Florida we are not going to allow them to inject transgenderism into kindergarten classrooms. First graders shouldn't have woke gender ideology imposed in their curriculums and that is what we're standing for. Because we're standing for the kids and we're standing for the parents.

Right there, DeSantis clearly lays out the purpose of this bill, highlighting how it's a pro-parent bill and it's designed to protect children from sexual grooming.

He goes on:

The chance that I am going to back down from my commitment to students and back down from my commitment to parents' rights, simply because of fraudulent media narratives or pressure from woke corporations, the chances of that are zero.

And the crowd goes wild!

This is where DeSantis goes absolutely savage.

When you have companies that have made a fortune off being family friendly and catering to families and young kids, you know, they should understand that parents of young kids do not want this injected into their kid's kindergarten classroom. They do not want their first graders to go and be told that they can choose an opposite gender. That is not appropriate for those kids.

So, if you're family friendly understand that the parents who are actually raising families want to have their rights respected.

And I also think that you have companies, like at Disney, that are gonna say and criticize parents' rights, they're gonna criticize the fact that we don't want transgenderism in kindergarten and first grade classrooms, if that's the hill that they're gonna die on, then how do they possibly explain lining their pockets with their relationship from the Communist Party of China? Because that's what they do, and they make a fortune, and they don't say a word about the really brutal practices that you see over there at the hands of the CCP.

So, in Florida, our policy is going to be based on the best interest of Florida citizens, not on the musing of woke corporations.

I mean, what can you say about a guy like this?

He stands up and explicitly calls out the biggest corporation in his state and maybe the most powerful company in the world. Calls them on the carpet for their hypocrisy and then slams them for pretending to be family-friendly.

This comes after the CEO of Disney called DeSantis to complain about the bill protecting parents' rights.

DeSantis pulls no punches and absolutely brings down the House of Mouse.
