Brown: Yes, but - I am and that's why I said that. I clarified that.
Miller: You said 'undocumented' and I wasn't clear what that means. I assume they have a fake ID, and I'm assuming they have a fake social security number, I'm assuming they have a passport in their home country...
Brown: That's neither here nor there. Stephen, I want this to be - and call me naive - a good faith discussion about what's happening right now.
Miller: When we use language that's designed to obscure the truth, that's not good-faith. An illegal alien is an illegal alien. They're not an 'undocumented migrant.'
You don't have to play their language games. You don't have to give them an inch. Make them use clear language - not euphemisms - to explain what they're talking about.
